There are several ongoing projects and the program is supported by a team of complementary experts in cardiology, hematology, neonatology, brain imaging and bioengineering. The Nationwide Children's neonatal network is one of the largest neonatal centers in the US. There are approximately 260 beds throughout the city, caring for more than 3,000 babies per year. The NICU at University of California, Irvine and CHOC Children’s Hospitalhas a 104 bed capacity which includes new, private, and state-of-the-art rooms.
Hospital Infantil de México Federico Gómez is one of the 13 National Institutes of Health in México City. It is a tertiary level pediatric referral hospital who receives patients from all over the Republic. Targeted neonatal echocardiography and point of care ultrasonography program started on 2017 and is integrated within neonatal intensive care.

And in contrast, this response is vanishingly small in both superfluid and Mott insulators which possess well-defined quasi-particles. Because our proposal uses the most common experimental protocol, we envision that our method can find broad applications in probing various quantum systems. To create an international network involving leaders in the field of neonatal hemodynamics in order to foster high quality collaborative research and quality improvement work focused at improving the hemodynamics care provided to neonates in intensive care units across the globe. The Children’s Hospital at Oklahoma University Health Science Center is the only level 4 Neonatal intensive care unit in the state of Oklahoma, with over 1200 high risk, surgical, ECMO admissions to the NICU annually. The TnEcho program is in its infancy and is being led by Dr. Marjorie Makoni with focus on expanding this consultative service to cater to all NICU infants with hemodynamic compromise. Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is a tertiary perinatal centre caring for over 150 extremely low birthweight infants annually.
Our level-4 unit is dedicated to advanced subspecialty neonatology with established cardiac-NICU, surgical NICU, neuro-NICU, and small baby unit . Our cardiac-NICU cares for all newborns with significant hemodynamic instability, significant pulmonary hypertension, congenital heart disease, and ECMO. Our cardiac-NICU works closely alongside the CHOC/UC Irvine fetal center and MFM team as well as the divisions of pediatric cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery.

The NICU at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital is a 40 bed unit providing Level IV neonatal care to complex and critically ill neonates across Northern California and beyond. The NICU provides multidisciplinary services and advanced care such as ECMO, dialysis, and postoperative care. Neonatologists care for infants with congenital heart disease in the NICU pre-operatively and continue to follow and consult on neonatal cardiac patients in the cardiac ICU, thus providing continuity of care for this complex population. The Neonatal Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow is a 50 bed Unit providing specialist medical and surgical neonatal services.

Xuzong Chen is a professor at the Institute of Quantum Electronics, Peking University. He is currently head of the Laboratory of Space Ultracold Atoms at Peking University. His research topics include fundamentals of quantum science and quantum technology, space cold atomic physics, multi-body quantum physics, Bose Einstein condensation, Bose Fermi mixing, quantum simulation, and novel atomic cesium clock.
The neonatal intensive care unit at CHU de Quebec cares for over 1500 babies per year of whom about 100 are less than 28 weeks. The TNE program was established in 2017 as a collaboration between the divisions of Neonatology and Pediatric Cardiology. Approximately 250 hemodynamics consultations are performed annually various hemodynamic issues such as PDA, pulmonary hypertension and diaphragmatic hernia amongst others.
The Rotunda Hospital is a tertiary maternity hospital with a neonatal intensive care unit catering for over 9000 deliveries per year and admits about 130 very low birth weight infants per annum. The centre provides an established link with a tertiary children’s hospital (Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street, Dublin). The Rotunda runs the largest Maternal-Fetal Medicine service in the country with a very busy congenital anomaly and fetal cardiology service. The Neonatologist Performed Echocardiography /TNE clinical program in the Rotunda Hospital currently follows a consultative model. Those include all common NICU pathologies such as pulmonary hypertension, PDA, sepsis and septic shock, neonatal encephalopathy, central line placement amongst others. We also, in collaboration with our Paediatric Cardiology colleagues, provide a screening service for congenital heart disease when clinically suspected.
The TNE service was established in 2011 and the training program commenced in collaboration with the Pediatric Cardiology Program. Pediatric Cardiology services and TNE service work closely together collaborating in service provision and training. The Developmental Hemodynamics program is based in the Division of Newborn Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital . It is a collaborative model of patient-oriented and translational research initiatives within the Division of Neonatology and the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. The program takes full advantage of BCH's rich clinical, scientific, and higher education resources. His team is utilizing non-invasive cardiopulmonary imaging modalities to study multitude of neonatal disease mechanisms and their relationships to cardiovascular and cerebral hemodynamics.
